Sr. Megan Wyatt gave us a very refreshing look at our marriages. Not only did she remind us of the purpose behind marriage in Islam, but also reminded us of the importance of love in Islam, and the amazing impact love has on our relationship with Allah (swt). She reminded us of how the Prophet (peace be upon him) lived as a married man, and how to emulate him. She was very well-spoken, to the point, and very balanced in her approach. She left us yearning to be better spouses and better as human beings, and as a result, better believers.
